Dresden, autumn 1717: the most famous duel of musicians of all times, Louis Marchand vs Johann Sebastian Bach, does not take place. A little more than 300 years later, the contest is to be held at last: Ton Koopman (Marchand) and Andreas Staier (Bach) are the voluntary contestants. But this time, we can be certain that no one will be running away beforehand.
